“I stopped here to let my dog take a break and decided to charge up while stretching my legs. I was pleasantly surprised to find two ChargePoint AC charging stalls, each capable of delivering 6.5 kW if shared between two cars. Each stall comes with two J1772 connectors, compatible with almost any car in North America, and with a simple adapter, even Teslas can charge here. The first four hours of charging are free, which is a fantastic deal. After that, it’s just $5 for an additional five hours. Activation is easy through the ChargePoint app, and you’re good to go. The charging station is located in a Bank of America parking lot, which is well-lit, but there are no amenities nearby. However, since this is an AC charger, you wouldn’t typically expect much in terms of facilities. The location is a bit odd, but it’s convenient enough, and the fact that it’s free for the first few hours makes it worth a stop. It seems to be a partnership with Apex Solar, and everything worked smoothly during my visit. If you’re in the area, I recommend taking advantage of this station.” — John M (The Closer), 2 years ago
