“Having 4 charging ports is good but the price is what makes it lose 2 stars. You are charged $.30 per kWh and then $1.00 per hour your parked there. I didn’t realize that until after I unplugged and received a text with the charge. Just shy of $4 for 2 hours! Appears The station owner charges you for the kWh and parking time while plugged in, whereas Millbrae only charged for the hours your plugged in regardless of kHw consumed. Also the ChargePoint app doesn’t tell you this before hand either, overall the app is really weak but that’s another story. Best to get there before 8 am when there is no parking fee and only the kWh charges. Today was $1.01 for 3.36 kWh. Once summer school is over we won’t charge here again. Like the first review, it’s not a draw to come and visit the area when public parking is cheaper or free! The real killer ChargePoint station is in Redwood City in the parking garage for the government building, couldn’t break away from lunch in time on a Saturday to collect my car and was nailed for $11.06 for 4.4 hours! The fast chargers for EVGo are cheaper and faster but harder to find. So if you really need to top up or get a few miles to get to your destination then stop here, otherwise go to the Millbrae Library and charge up, cheaper and the library is a fantastic place to relax!” — Andrew Ratto, 7 years ago
