“1 of 2 charging stations along San Carlos St side was broken and non-functioning on Saturday, June 25th, 2022. This public parking lot was quite full and no space left around 3 pm on Saturday when I needed to park and charge for 2 hours in order to make a next lag of drive with 6-year-old Nissan Leaf that holds about 70-mile when it's fully charged. Called 800 number to talk to ChargePoint technician over the phone if the station with 2 ports that can be repaired over the phone, but no availability. Wasted a lot of time going back and forth from this parking space and another 6 blocks away. When I returned to this lot after failing to find another charging station, another EV driver just pulled in and missed a chance to charge. I had a visit nearby this parking lot planned from 4 to 6 pm, but unfortunately the 2 non-working charging stations really massed up my schedule. “3 broken chargers out of 8. No fast chargers!!! This was my second time charging my electric rental car and I decided to leave after a short time to go to a better faster charging station in Pacific Grove, Electrify America. I could not figure out how to stop charging and disconnect the plug, so I called the help line. The automated menu kept going in a loop like the Blair Witch Project and no prompts would work. Great customer service right there!!! So I finally pulled it out hoping I didn’t damage anything. What I don’t get is, this is high-end Carmel By The Sea!
