“I've used this charger several times over the last two years while visiting family in the area. There are two charging posts, each with two plugs, but one of them has been dead as long as I've been using this station. On my last visit, the one working charger kept interrupting the charge and eventually stopped working altogether. “This is a brand new EV car (not a Tesla) and my first time using an EV charging station. So, this review will be from a beginner. It took a minute to figure out which charging station to use. Tesla's apparently have their own separate charging stations. It also took a minute to find the instructions and figure out how to operate it. It would have been nice if there was a cover over the station. It was a little bit of a hassle to do this in the rain. I downloaded the app, EVgo, and was able to charge the car. Once the charging process was running, it was all good. Sat in the car and could view the progress on the app. When the rain stopped, I was also able to follow the progress on the screen in the charging station. The car was at less than 15 hours of driving time remaining with a max of 100 miles. It's a fast charge for 30 minutes, getting the car up to 97 miles. Cost me $6. Overall, it seemed to work well.
