“Just brought my rental car here to charge before returning to the airport. Ran my card and it was charged for $50 but I only used $6.48 to charge my vehicle. This is simply unethical and is borderline criminal. I’ll be making a call to corporate about this. Gas stations usually run $1 on a card before you start filling up but these folks are running $50? Who even would need to spend $50 to charge their car? Most charges will be under $30, especially at a place like this where people wouldn’t fill up to 100% and would probably just try to get back up to 80%. Totally unacceptable. On top of that I parked my car at this charger and it only increased my battery by 6% after 1 hour and 45 minutes. Total waste of time and money. Update: it took 4 days before the $50 hold was released. Imagine if you had to charge your car 2 or 3 times in a week. You would have $150 in holds for a $20 - $30 charge.
