“I was walking in Kingston and came across this charger. The charger is labeled Kingston Forsyth Park. It’s a 7.1kW charger with two J1772 plugs. It’s a shared charger so it’s only 3.5kW each if two EVs are plugged in. The fee is $0.25kW with a $1.00 an hour ideal time. I like when chargers have ideal time so people move their EV after charging allowing others to charge. The chargers are located at the end of Severyn Street which is off of Municipal Stadium Road. They are a little hidden here but easy to get to once you know they are there. This is a great place to take a walk (or run) between the track at Dietz and the Forsyth Nature Center. If these chargers are not available you can go to the EVolveNY $0.47/kWh at the Bank of America for 350kW or the Level 2 chargers at Ulster Saving Bank for $0.194kW with a session fee of $0.99. I went back the following week and charged while my wife and I went to breakfast nearby. We were the only car charging so we got the full 7.1kW. Our car was set to charge to 85%. Our car reached 85% just before we arrived back at the car. Google Maps directs you to drive from Lucas Ave. to Forsyth Park road but it doesn’t go through to the chargers. You have to enter from the Dietz Stadium side on Severyn Street which takes you to the other end of Forsyth Park road.” — Bill, a year ago
