“Love these chargers. First of all, parking is brutal in Old Town, especially on weekends. So park in the CalTrans lot after 5pm on weekdays or all day on weekends. Great spot to charge up and take the trolley to a Padres game to! My Tesla gets roughly 26 miles per hour here and it’s something like $1.15/hour. There are always spots and it has security guards patrolling the area so you can feel like your car is secure. I live nearby and charger here very often, I’ve ever had any issues. I suggest downloading the EV Connect app before arriving, otherwise the QR code on the machine will direct you to the current price of Bitcoin. Weird. This is a great spot to charge during dinner, and also just a nice parking lot. Save this one because cinco de Mayo is coming up and parking will be impossible in old town. “Best spot for Level 2 charging in the area. Low rates, lots of units and never busy. Only allowed on weekends, holidays and after 5 on weekdays.
