A highway that never sleeps.
The Night That Started It All
Last year, my sister Naina Kansal and Parth Shah were driving on a highway at night. The battery was running low, so Naina pulled into a charger. It looked fine. It seemed to work. But it wasn't right for their car.
By the time they realized the problem, the battery had dropped to almost nothing. They were stuck on an empty highway in the dark. Naina called the car company. Their answer? 'We'll send a tow truck.' That's it. No help. No solution.
Parth was stressed. Naina was scared. I was furious. That night, I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking - why does this happen? Why isn't there something that warns you before you charge? Why do car companies leave their customers like this?
The next morning, my co-founder Vinamer Aggarwal and I decided to build something to fix this. We called it Zevvy Maps.
