About Zevvy
Zevvy helps electric car drivers find chargers that fit their car.
What Zevvy is
Zevvy is a charging map and trip planner for electric cars. It shows only the chargers your car can plug into. It plans the charging stops on a route for your car and your starting charge. It shows what other drivers found at each charger.
Why it exists
A charger on a map is not the same as a charger your car can use. Plugs differ. Power differs. Some chargers are broken or busy. Zevvy began after a family member was stranded on a highway because the charger they reached did not fit their car.
Where it started
Zevvy was founded in 2026 in Chandigarh, India. Chandigarh is the first city. Ottawa, Canada is next.
Who built it
- Chirag Kansal, co-founder, technology.
- Vinamer Aggarwal, co-founder.

These figures are from the site build of 2 November 2026.

- 12,015in India
- 12,508in Canada
- 52,902in the United States
- 315road-trip route guides
- 47locations mapped in Chandigarh
How it treats data
Zevvy leaves a field empty when it does not know the answer. It does not guess a charging speed. It does not show a charger as working unless a charging network or a driver said so.
A charger with no driver check-in in 90 days is marked Unverified. A driver report never overrides a network's live status. Drivers can check in at a charger to say whether it worked, whether the plug fitted, and how long they waited.
Charger data comes from charging networks, Open Charge Map (CC BY 4.0), Natural Resources Canada (Open Government Licence – Canada), the U.S. Department of Energy, and drivers. Map data is from OpenStreetMap contributors.
