“I stopped here on the way too and from a weekend trip. I had trouble charging each time. The first time, machine 1 was dark (no power) and I tried machine 2, which said it started, but failed on connecting. I tried 2 more times and got nowhere, I left without charging. On the way back, I tried machine 4 i think, but the credit card reader wasn't working. I had switched to machine 3 which finally worked. Someone else was on machine 2 which was still causing problems. This was probably the 4th time I have tried charging at either Maryland house or the Chesapeake house rest stops, and I haven't had a problem free charge yet. In the past, I have had to mail in a letter to request a refund of the $2.50 for each failed charge. I am waiting to see if I get charged only once for the 5 attempts I made over the weekend, with only one successful charge.
