“As far as I can tell DC1 works consistently but DC2 is not working at this time. It's nice to be able to use the fast charger. No one is ever there at the same time I am. Unfortunately the snow is piled up by the working station. Definitely download the charge point app to make charging seemless.seamless. 24hr convenience store at this location. “Pros: it’s the only DC fast charging station in the Alpena area as of 9/6/26. CCS and ChaDeMo plugs. Cons: slower, 70kW in reality when my car had a capacity of 115 kW. Other minor annoyance: You can just tap your credit card to pay, but ChargePoint makes it look like you need an account and phone app though you don’t. They charge a 99 cent surcharge for not having an account and paying through your phone. You have to manually add the card in the ChargePoint app too, you can’t use an existing Apple Pay card.” — Jonathan Carr, in the last week
