“The location might show it is at the Gulf Station. It is not there, rather across 28 and over the rail tracks and at a small white building off the parking lot. It is extremely slow. We tried it for 30 minutes and got enough charge for 6 miles. Lucky we had a hybrid and could go to a gas station and continue on our way. This only makes sense if you can leave your car there all day or overnight. However, this is not in the village or really in walking distance of anything useful.” — Richard Davis, 2 years ago

“The location is a bit ghetto… down a gravel road behind the train station on the side of a shed. But if you’re staying in Arkville it’s an easy walk for overnight charging. Phone signal is spotty for starting the charge. The reason for 2 stars… the ‘penalty’ after charging is complete is ridiculous at $25 an hour for ‘parking’. Keep in mind these are chargers that *barely* get used. So if you start your charge at 10pm after dinner, and your car is fully charged at at 5am, you’ve got to set and alarm and stumble over in the pitch black to take it off charge, otherwise your bill will be over $100 by breakfast.” — Geoff Cattrall, a year ago
