“So I am conflicted. Other posts discuss the fact that there are parked ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles in the actual EV spots. Which is 100% true. Here are the some pictures to back it up. However the Flo app was pretty simple to use and once I got my car charging I got about a 25% bump in my charge for having it parked for two hours ($5). I parked during the day but the 9PM and on slots would have cost me $2 for 25%. To think I can fill up my car at night in about 8 hours for $8 is a great price. The setup isn't perfect but I blame society and their lack of adhering to a rule more than I blame Flo. I did leave some 311 messages and hopefully ICE vehicles begin to adhere to the EV parking rules.” — Maximilien Baud, 5 years ago

“Worst experience ever, I went to both locations here in Astoria and both were occupied by non electric cars, the city wants people to be more eco friendly and buy electric vehicles, yet they don’t make it easy for us to charge, ticket those cars and things would be easier. if this continues ill be trading in my car and goin back to gas, maybe even buy a V8 😈” — Carlos Murudumbay (Litto), 3 years ago

“A fine station that kept getting occupied by ICE vehicles. It's a two-hour parking spot and you are expected to pay for parking there. 2 hours isn't enough time to charge my vehicle, so I had to sit in the car for a bit to continue getting energy. The city doesn't really need to double dip on those of us who want to keep the city a bit cleaner and greener by paying a premium for electric vehicles. Charge us for the electricity, but not the parking as well.
