“Like others have said, the two available lines here top out at 40kW, so don't be in a hurry! But, since the town's Tesla chargers don't accept adapters, this is absolutely your best bet for non-Tesla vehicles. - And, the charger did stay at 38/39 kW for my entire charge, so it did its best. If you're coming to Baker City through LA Grande (north/west of Baker City), I highly recommend you get a full charge at the Electrify America stations in the La Grande Wal-Mart parking lot. “Unlike the other reviews, there isn't much to do in Baker City at midnight. No coffee shops, silent dark streets, a street light that liked to flicker on every 8 seconds as if it was exploding, bored police cruise the main drag of the city, and the feeling of standing in a field waiting to be sniped. This location is what I would call a "we have a supercharger at home" spot. Better than what I have wired at my house, but lacking in the sense that of that "of course, I have no plans for the next 2+ hours with a dying cell phone". If this was the last spot I could to charge at, I would...because it was. The Tesla chargers, down the main drag, are too old and stubborn to adapt to others. The soft blue glow, silence, with a poorly light area, and a charger reminiscent of a Redbox kiosk left in a field...it was almost as if it was a poetic art piece for modern technology just finding its way into a town that don't need no EVs. If I ever come back, I'll take pictures then and maybe just maybe I'll do it again at midnight while its 25 degrees out in the middle of March.” — M. Abel Nielsen, 4 months ago
