What drivers have written
“Charging my Volkswagen ID.4 at the Tesla Supercharger with Magic Dock at the Stewart Shops in Malta, NY, was an exciting first for me. Since there are no Magic Docks where I live and Tesla hasn’t yet opened their Supercharger network to Volkswagen vehicles, this was a unique opportunity. The experience was fantastic—smooth and straightforward from start to finish. After opening the app, I selected my charger stall, clicked “charge,” and the Magic Dock unlocked effortlessly. Plugging in was a breeze, and I enjoyed full charging speed. It’s easy to see why Tesla has such loyal customers; their charging network is incredibly reliable. This station features eight stalls, with charging speeds up to 250 kW for those capable. My ID.4 maxed out just under 200 kW, which is still impressive. The Supercharger is conveniently located at a Stewart’s Shop, which offers 24-hour gas station amenities, including restrooms, food, and great staff. They even provide garbage cans and squeegees for your windshield. This is exactly how charging should be—efficient, reliable, and well-supported with amenities. Five stars for this top-notch charging experience!” — John M (The Closer), 2 years ago
“Busy location where I have often found all stalls to be occupied. Turnover is pretty quick, especially if there are Tesla vehicles being charged. Easiest way to get to the chargers is to circle around the building to the back / southeast side. There are buckets with windshield washing fluid and scraper - nice amenity. The Stewarts store is very clean, great variety of things to offer, friendly staff and clean bathrooms.” — Bob McCormick (W1QA), 10 months ago
“Successful charge of my Audi here. TO USE THE MAGIC DOCK: you have to push the charger up into the station AND press and hold the round button the back of the charger until you hear a click. The Tesla app just tells you to push it in but that's not enough you also have to push the button. Took me a few minutes to figure out and I helped a few other people who also couldn't figure it out. Edit: also take note of how short the Tesla cables are and park your car accordingly. I had to pull in really far to the point where I was almost touching the lamppost in front of me. Great charging experience otherwise though - fast and easy. The Tesla charging stations are different from what I'm used to, most other chargers have a screen that lets you select payment options, stop charging, etc., but for Tesla it's all through the app. But it worked fine. I was there mid-morning on a Tuesday and it was moderately busy; I think at one point 7 out of 8 chargers were in use.” — Mandy Sheridan, a year ago
