“Charger worked great. Walk over to the freeway fence for some nice shade trees and a walk in the grass to stretch your legs. View the Penn Ave/494 overpass where in July 23, 1987 a thunderstorm dumped over a foot of rain. I was living nearby at the time. My friend Curt and I were driving my old truck around looking and driving through the flooded streets around midnight. My truck died and we were walking back home over the Penn Ave bridge where we watched several east bound cars drive into the flood waters below. We ran down the exit ramp and flagged down cars to keep them from driving into the water. We were there through one of the fiercest storms in Minnesota history. “The charger stations are in front of the target store but much closer to the highway. Between the samurai hi and sushi restaurant and the Chick-fil-A.
