What drivers have written

“I've only charged our Model Y at this station three times, either on our way to, or back from Honey Grove. Two stations with CCS1 and NACS connectors on each station. First time charging, no problem. Easy peasy and smooth as pie. The second time, the chargers only charged briefly for a few seconds and then repeatedly disconnects. I attempted to charge for 10 minutes, both stations using the app to pay, using a credit card to pay, using Apple Pay to pay, to no avail before ultimately leaving (probably what Monica experienced). The 3rd time, we were driving back from a Thanksgiving party at a friend's house in Bonham, no problems just like our first experience at this charging station. This station is a hit or miss and I do not recommend that you wait until you're down to 20% charge capacity to swing by this station. The next closest Supercharger is about 30 miles away, in Denison, and is usually full. Precondition your Tesla before you arrive so you're charging at maximum kW throughput (pro-tip: turn on your defroster for about 10 minutes to manually precondition). Although advertised as 125 kW, I usually charge at the rate of 76 kW, better than 32-35 kW without preconditioning. Also beware that this station puts a ridiculous $50 temporary hold every time you charge up.” — khoupernicus, 5 months ago

“We’ve been trying to charge our vehicle here for the past hour, and neither charger is working. The app shows the chargers as available and ready to use, but that’s not accurate. We spoke with the employees inside, and they mentioned the chargers haven’t been working properly for weeks. It’s very frustrating that the app hasn’t been updated—especially since we always check charging locations before leaving home. We’re now an hour away from home and have to get a tow truck because of this. Please update the app information so drivers can plan accordingly and avoid this kind of situation.” — Monica Salas, 10 months ago

“Charger worked great. Both chargers function. It's at a TXB gas station with a really nice convenience store. Hopefully charges continue to work since it's a great location.” — Mary-Grace Reed, 9 months ago
