What drivers have written
“Decided to give the FPL Evolution charging station a test run with my Volkswagen ID.4 while on a trip up north. This was my first time using one of their stations, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get started. By using the FPL Evolution app and scanning a QR code on the charger, I was able to plug in and start charging almost immediately. The station is conveniently located at a Dunkin’ Donuts. Although it was closed during my evening visit, the place looked clean and well-maintained from what I could see through the windows. This particular location has two stalls, each with two charge handles, which provides some flexibility even if another car is charging, as was the case when I arrived. The charging speed topped out at 126 kW, which, while not the fastest, is respectable and sufficient for a test. The area is well-lit, enhancing safety and visibility, especially during nighttime stops. It’s also nice to have a food option nearby, even if it’s not open 24 hours, as it adds a layer of convenience for future visits. Overall, my first encounter with an FPL Evolution station was positive. The setup was user-friendly, the location convenient, and the environment clean and safe. This experience makes me feel confident about using FPL Evolution chargers in the future as I continue my EV journey.” — John M (The Closer), 2 years ago
“There are shops nearby where you can have a snack. I come here for the fourth time and only once I waited and it was very fast about 5 minutes I am very happy with this exercise. Scanned the QR code and paid for everything very easy to use” — Margarita, a year ago
“Operated by FPL (Florida Power & Light, the local electric company), this station is in the parking lot of the Dunkin so there's coffee and donuts to keep you occupied while you're waiting for the electrons to flow. Home Depot and some other big boxes are within walking distance. There are two of the CCS chargers here and they seemed to be okay today for charging. No shade but the parking spaces are free and clearly marked as dedicated for EV.” — Bruce InCharlotte, a year ago
