What drivers have written
“It's confusing but this should clarify it. The four chargers on the right (DC 1-4) are CCS 180kW and require the Red E Charge app to operate. Download the app beforehand because cell phone reception is spotty here. The best spot for cell reception is between DC5 and DC1 (shown in the photo) which has an opening in the trees with a view towards New Hampshire. You might need to stand there to operate the app and start the charger. As with most superfast chargers, the power throttles down as your car's state of charge increases, so I was getting around 50kW when my battery was at 70%. Be aware that the app shows two banks of chargers at this location (see screenshot). You need to zoom in on the map to see both of them or they will overlap and you will only see one. The "Bradford NEVI Charging Center" is for the four 180kW chargers, and the "Bradford ACCD Charging Center" is for the 50kW and 7kW chargers. The 50kW chargers (DC 5-6) do not seem to work with the app. However, they do work with a credit card. They are both CCS and CHAdeMO. I have not tried the J1772 charger. The app tells you which chargers are available, and usually most of them are. I have never seen more than four cars at these chargers at one time. If you are sticking around for lunch or dinner, Colantina Exit just down the street is the best restaurant in the area. They have amazing stone-hearth pizza and other Italian dishes with ingredients from local farms. They have been around for 50 years and is the quintessential example of Vermont old world charm. The best coffee in Bradford is the Vittles drive-through truck about a mile at the other end of town.” — Frank Hsieh, a year ago
“Closest NACS charger from Loon. Be careful driving the mountain roads to keep charge. Need about 60 miles of range to get here. Good Italian restaurant in town to sit down while waiting.” — Phil N, 7 months ago
“Do not use these. Not a single charger would start for my Fiat 500e. There are several types available and every single one was very confusing and none would begin charging either with the Red E app or by tap to pay or swiping credit card. Do not waste your time here. There is a 50 kW DC fast charger at Hannaford a mile away that works.” — S Jason Wang, a year ago
