This is not a light, aerodynamic efficiency machine. It is a 9,000 lb brick that happens to be electric. If anything on the road is going to stress a charging network, it’s this truck. And Electrify America handled it without flinching. The 350 kW capability is the real differentiator. A lot of charging stations are rated high on paper but throttle down fast in real-world conditions. This one stayed in the 300s consistently throughout the session. For an EV owner, especially one driving a vehicle with this kind of power demand, that consistency matters more than the peak number. The infrastructure was clean, the station was straightforward to use, and the whole thing just worked — which honestly shouldn’t be a low bar, but in the current EV charging landscape, reliability is everything. Electrify America gets a bad reputation in some circles but when the hardware is right and the station is maintained, it genuinely delivers. This was one of those times.
