“If you need to stay and charge your Tesla during a break, there's a Sonic within walking distance. You'll find dog parks nearby, and you can use the restrooms at Sonic for free. “The charger stations were easy to find, and start charging. I only needed a brief charge to get home. I walked over to the Edwards Food Giant store to use the restroom and buy a snack. These are the original style Superchargers with short cords. I got the far right station for my Bolt so I wouldn't block anyone, and I had to park in the yellow area and pull as close as I could for the cord to reach. While I was there it was pretty empty, but maybe six or eight Teslas came and went. I was the only non-Tesla I noticed. If I had wanted a restaurant there are several options nearby but I didn't try any. The area looks slightly rundown, but it didn't look scary or anything. I feel like Brinkley has seen better days and maybe the vehicle chargers will spur the town and businesses to add some plantings and other refinements to make folks want to explore. P.S.: Google Maps doesn't currently seem to understand that I use an adapter for my CCS Bolt, and this supercharger works fine with an adapter. Google stridently warns me away from navigating here, and their maps survey doesn't show "NACS DC adapter" as an option.” — Tommy Trussell, 7 months ago
