“1. The Tesla charging station is on the second floor inside a pay parking station in a low socioeconomic area. The irony that people with low income would have to pay an additional $3 on top of the charging fee to charge their car. 2. There aren’t enough charging stations. Arrived at 7:30am and had to wait about a half hour for a spot. 3. These are not superchargers. These are slow antiquated chargers compared to the ones out in Long Island. “Arrived at the Bay Plaza mall at approximately 10 minutes after five on Monday, June 10 with a line of about six teslas in front of me waiting to use only two chargers available. Both the in car app in the Phone app indicated that they were four available chargers, and as I sat here for more than an hour the number to eight available chargers, however, only two appear to be working. This is a continuing issue at this location where chargers are not working and there’s no one or no way of knowing why that is the case. Additionally this is one of the busiest locations in the city of New York for charging and there are only 12 charging stations. There could be as many as 75 here and they would still get used regularly and there probably would still be lines. This is the only supercharger location that I am aware of that you have to pay to exit the facility.
