“Took about a half hour to get hooked up and charging. ChargePoint is the worst. The machines wouldn't recognize my phone for charging so I had to go to my room and add a new payment source. I was staying at the attached Home2 Suites hotel. After a night of charging, the vehicle was only up to something like 84%. I unhooked to avoid the $4.00/hour charge for a connected vehicle not actively charging and went about my day. The base KWh rate was $0.75, which was ten cents higher than my last Electrify America session. The sole and only reason one would choose this option, as did I, is that it allowed me to charge overnight as I slept. If I could have anticipated how much time would be straight up wasted getting my account to work with this slow-as-hell charger, I could have spent the same time using an Electrify America charger for less money, and spent the same amount of time, but shopping or snacking instead of being on the receiving end of ChargePoint's digital run-around.
