“I have used this charger station several times since purchasing an F-150 Lightning. Here is my review! Pros: 1. Right off 31 2. Easy to get to 3. Places to walk to while it is charging 4. Semi super fast charger 150kw 5. Well lit for night time charging. Cons: 1. No sidewalks to walk to 2. Screen is super hard to see in daylight! Like seriously it is really hard. Been to many others that are rated for UV and bright lights. This place is older. 3. When I was last there all the restaurants that are close were closed for remodeling. Not their fault just stating my experience. 4. Wish it charged faster but happy to have it vs nothing!!!! I stop here on my way home to Syracuse from Indy if I need a charge. “During our travels, the EVgo Charging Station on Thatcher Lane in Carmel proved to be a reliable pit stop for our electric vehicle. Both on our initial visit and on the return trip, we were pleasantly surprised by the absence of any wait time, allowing us to charge our vehicle efficiently using the EVGo RFID card. The seamless charging process at this station was a highlight, contributing to a stress-free travel experience. Adjacent to the charging area, we discovered a shopping center that was conveniently situated for us to run errands and pick up some travel essentials while our vehicle powered up. However, it’s worth noting that there is no designated walkway linking the charging station parking lot to the shopping center. As we made our way to the shops, paying attention to the traffic was necessary. Despite this minor inconvenience, the station's location was advantageous, enabling us to make the most of our charging time. “Easy in/out of the spaces. The Chase Bank has a nice ATM inside, where you can even get 5s & 1s if the bank is open while you’re there. Chase Bank will not let you use the restroom, and they won’t be nice if you ask. There’s a strip mall across the parking lot, but right now there’s a lot of construction in the way. Between that and bad weather, it wasn’t convenient to explore. Charge rate was 80kw my first time there, but the next day I could only get a max of 25kw. I think it was because another car was charging since I was well below 80% where my car might start to throttle the charge rate. So overall was very happy my first time there but was pretty annoyed the second time when it took 50 minutes just for 30% charge.
