“June 2023 update - These seem to be charging closer to their 62.5kw capability but are also fees based now at 22c/min for your first hour and 75c/min after you first hour. Still competitively priced until you reach the one hour mark. Previous review: Despite advertising 174kw charge capabilities, this station will only charge at 25kw on my vehicle, which is capable of charging at 50kw. I have charged at 50kw at this location (and all BCHydro locations) in the past, but the last several times it seems to be governed at around 25kw throughout my charge range. It remains one of the fastest free stations so still worth the stop, just leave yourself a bit of time. Total of 4 charge points here, two near the rental car returns and two at the short term parking across the traffic circle.” — Dan Leus, 3 years ago
“Zero stars to chargepoint as a company. Started in Ladysmith with my battery low light flashing. My phone wouldn't connect. I was in the app, clicked the station nothing worked. Drove to Cassidy airport, same thing. Had to call to get them to start it charging. I asked how to get it to work next time, they said I would have to call. By the way when you call you go in a que of other callers waiting to get their vehicles chargers to work. So I guess I avoid chargepoint stations at all costs.” — Becca Roosma, 5 years ago
