“Chargers are behind Woody's and worked fine but had to walk past dumpsters, loading dock and truck parking area to get to the store and bathrooms. Fine in daylight but opted not to try it at night. Woody's is a mini-Bucc-ees, safe and clean bathrooms. On my return trip at night, I went to the Tesla at Bucc-ees in Madisonville instead about 15 minutes away.” — Jenny Gensler, 5 months ago
“The charger network and functionality are fine and worked as expected. Unfortunately, the chargers are located immediately next to a series of dumpsters, which are quite disgusting in upkeep and smell. Additionally, in order to get to the restrooms and market, you have to pass directly through an 18-wheeler parking lot - which I don’t find appropriate for solo travelers and children. It really feels like Woody’s (the associated gas station and market) are trolling EV owners with this setup. It could be nice but misses the mark. “Very easy to use, once we found the charging stations, which are on the north side of Woody's, not visible from the front of Woody's. There is a Texas Burger next door to Woody's where we got veggie burgers to go, to eat while charging, used the rest rooms there, and drove around Woody's to where the charging stations are. It was well lit at night and there's a row of Tesla chargers as well as CCS chargers that are open to non-Rivian vehicles. It was easy to tap-to-pay using my phone.
