“I expected it to be busy but it was actually easy to get a spot when I pulled in around noon. Staff keeps it clean and way more organized than some other ones Ive been to. “Hey guys, 🙃 This is a Tesla charging station. Charging at 240 V / 72kW max. So this is on the slower side, if you’re looking for a quick charge maybe skip this one. Currently this station has 12 stalls and is usually packed. Off peak hours you will need to give yourself a minimum of an hour. It’s only about 10 miles away from beach. It’s considered Cerritos but it’s basically Long Beach territory. One positive is, Tesla designed a sort of drive thru style waiting system. Maybe you have encountered some of the more hectic locations. Unfortunately, Tesla in the LBC area is lacking in terms of adequate power stops. There is a EvGo in the same parking lot. Also mall shopping so that’s a plus considering the 240 V charge rate. Thanks for letting me share.” — GuideLA, a year ago

“This is one of my go to charging locations since it’s easy to find, is away from the main mall locations, and because it’s not stuck inside a closed/covered parking lot. This is the busiest charging station I’ve ever been to in California though. Every charger is usually always in use especially since they take months to repair broken ones. You are likely to be waiting 30 minutes to an hour in line so if you are in a hurry don’t come to this location. Pro-Tip: Tesla owners need to learn some charging etiquette. Some of these savages are spread around the parking lot and doing a free for all when someone is finished charging and leaving. The ideal thing to do is to start lining up in a single file line on the right side of the parking lot how it was intended.
