“beware this company Auto loads $20 whenever your balance is under $5 with or without your knowledge without asking permission with only an email and it is not concise at the time of establishing an account that this is an option and there is no way to turn auto reload off you have to call and talk to a robot then you talk to an agent and you have to have a ticket number and it takes 3 to 5 days for a live agent to reverse the balance I have a balance of $1 and some change I was trying to figure out why I spent $18.75 but had almost $40 missing out of my account the main concern is predatory holding of people's money which is uncomfortable and without consent and even if it was it was not done in a way that is obvious. I think that that feature is nice if you're in the mint Hill area and you are regularly using this to charge but for people who rent electric vehicles or are given loaner electric vehicles and are temporarily using these venues to charge their vehicles are put into a compromise situation of having money held in an account that they may not consent or desire to use. chargepoint has been sued for holding people's money without telling them it is worth it to me to go to Concord to the IONNA DALE EARNHARDT EXIT where they tell you they're going to do a 30.00 transaction there is no secrets no mystery uploads no secret hold of money. at least electrify America company at the mall in Concord has you manually upload your money prior to using their charger which is consensual and no it's not secret and predatory the word predator and consent or two important words in the United States and you need to watch out that the electric vehicle charging vendors and dealerships are out for profit and they're out the bamboozle you they don't understand not everybody's in the privileged utopic lifestyle or demographic to just have money held and all these accounts and all these debit cards being uploaded and all of these programs being signed up it's all predatory people just want to charge their battery and go on about their business I mean $20 is $20...” — BlueRidgeBear, 6 months ago
