“Disappointed with the planning and accessibility of this ChargeZone Charging Station location. The biggest issue is not the charger itself, but the location management. Despite having designated EV charging parking markings, the station is located within a showroom premises where public charger access clearly does not seem to be prioritised. Vehicles belonging to the showroom are packed in front of the charging area, making it difficult — sometimes impossible — to access the charger directly. An EV charging station should not require customers to: negotiate with staff, call the manager, coordinate with the watchman, just to move cars around and plug in for charging. That defeats the whole purpose of convenience charging infrastructure. Public EV charging only works when accessibility is respected and consistently enforced.
