“Does not work. I reserved the charging spot using EVmatch and paid $10 to top up in the app but the charger did not start. I spent 30 minutes trying to restart to no avail. “April 5-- this charger is not working. I was able to reserve the charger, but was unable to charge. I reported the problem to EVMatch through the app. They responded after several hours: "Unfortunately that charger is currently out of order and needs a technical update or a hardware replacement from the site host. We have been in touch with the host" [a church] "and apologize for the inconvenience." I believe this one is now flagged as "out of order" on the app. Apparently they depend on user reports to know when a charger is not working. It sounds to me like this is a noble effort to publicize modestly priced charging, made available by good-hearted organizations. Rejoice if you find one working! “The only available charging station in the area that isn't behind a university parking garage toll or a residential building's parking structure. You are not allowed to park there charging overnight at the risk of being towed however, and there is only one charger.
