“BROKEN FAST CCS charger on the far end of the row FRIES YOUR CAR!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS SPECIFIC CCS!!! It fried a major circuit board in my Ioniq 5 and mine is the FOURTH car in November 2023 to be fried by this one charger. It freezes the car in a state of thinking it is charging, even without anything plugged in, so the car will not come out of Park. Does not respond to restarts, unhooking the battery, system reboots, manual release, everything. The computer parts must be replaced entirely. The tow guy and the dealership techs both said ‘oh no, the charger on the end?? Again?!’ There was a sign up as warning, but it blew away and now my car will take weeks to repair. Charger company knows it’s broken but as of 12/1/23 it has not been repaired or taken offline. All other chargers at this location are fine.” — Meredith Alcarese, 2 years ago
