“Brand new Supercharger finally in the heart of Coquitlam – 8 stalls, 250 kW A brand new Tesla Supercharger has finally arrived in central Coquitlam, and it’s a well-placed addition to the local charging network. The station features 8 stalls at up to 250 kW, delivering the fast, reliable charging Tesla drivers expect. I visited on the very first day of operation at around 3 PM, so judging crowd levels isn’t really possible yet — but that’ll sort itself out over the coming weeks. Charging speed was excellent, as is typical of Tesla Superchargers — no complaints there. The location is great for grabbing food while you charge. Domino’s Pizza is right on-site, Milestones is just across the street, and McDonald’s is roughly a 3-minute walk. Tim Hortons is about 5 minutes on foot — ideal for a quick coffee. For something more relaxed, Blackberry Coffee Corner is nearby if you fancy a proper café visit, and Cakes & Sweets is perfect if you’re in the mood for dessert while you wait. McCafe and Sushi Town are also within reach for more variety. Parking is fine overall, but the Supercharger occupies a smaller section of the lot, which may feel a little tight for less experienced drivers when maneuvering in and out.
