“Requires an app to use the charge station. Puts a minimum $25 charge on the card. Only one station worked, other was out of order. Stop button on the screen tells you to use the app. There is no stop button on the app. Feel free to use the emergency stop button. That button works great. “I encountered a problem here, but it was only the second fast charging station I've ever used. I was trying to checkout as a guest with the required EV Connect app. I tried to unplug after unlocking the vehicle, as I had done once before, but the plug didn't lift out. The EV Connect website indicates I may need to hit stop on the terminal to stop a charge, but the terminal wouldn't let me stop the charge, presumably because I was checking out as a guest. The issue may have actually just been that the plug was much stiffer in the port than the one other I had used, as after I contacted support to halt the charge, it was still quite difficult to remove. I will stop here again in a couple days, and will try to remember to update my review after try 2. Update from try 2: The charger indeed did not and would not disconnect simply from unlocking the vehicle. I was able to stop charging from the inside of the vehicle by turning the maximum charge level for DC charging below its current level, thereby stopping charging through the vehicle settings. This may be a compatibility problem with this charger and the Ioniq 6, or an issue with checking out as a guest, or some combination of things.” — Joshua Schlueter, 2 years ago
