What drivers have written

“Does not work. Tried three stalls since there appeared to be two models of charger. The first one simply wouldn't start, and the second two (same model) would attempt to start CCS instead of CHAdeMO as selected in the app. Ended up going to the EVgo station half a mile down the road. Go there instead for CHAdeMO, CCS probably works here but what a waste of time for anybody driving a legacy EV (ie the people with the most need for charging due to low range)” — Matthew Fuller, 2 months ago

“To fully charge my car here is almost half the price of charging at Buckey's. I use FPL charging stations when possible because they are usually the cheapest. At the Daytona One charging station, I haven't had to wait for a spot yet (fingers crossed) 馃. Also while you wait, there are a few good things to do like a huge Bass Pro Shop, P.F. Chang's and Jeremiah's Italian Ice etc. Very family friendly surroundings.” — Jasmine Trump, a year ago

“Used this station in the AM and then tried to stop again on my way back. All 6 pedestals out of order. Called FPL and they recommended I go somewhere else. When I informed them I couldn鈥檛, they opened a generic support issue including asking me when would be the best time to call me back. Then they said since it鈥檚 a weekend, response time might be over an hour. They had no ability to reboot the pedestals remotely. Station was very fast in the morning. EDIT: An upper level EV support person followed up and explained that an emergency shut off switch was tripped for this charging location and they had to dispatch a truck to get it back online. They also explained they are working on providing dedicated EV support on nights and weekends. They already have support agents during the week who are better equipped to support the EV chargers. We had a nice discussion and overall I get the impression that FPL is serious about making a strong contribution to Florida鈥檚 EV charging infrastructure. I look forward to the future!” — Robert Borden, 4 years ago
