“NOT a Blink charging station. It’s a Tesla destination station with Level 2 chargers (slow). There is no cell service so you need to walk back and forth to WiFi to get the charger going - need Tesla app (scan the QR code on the charger) You can charge non-Tesla cars but check which ports have the proper adapter. We ended up charging for 3 hours to get a 45 miles in order to make it to the next Super Charger station. “There is no Blink Charging. Only the Tesla Destination Chargers by the Ice Cream Parlor lot. Keep in mind. These are NOT Superchargers. Also, half don't work. Death Valley needs to improve connection to these. Some people had to connect via the QR Code, even though they owned a tesla. Some didn't. Some just plugged in and it worked as normal. Also, this is the only charging in the Park. Which made our trip very stressful. Highly recommend stopping at the Rivian Chargers in Shoshone, prior to entering the Park! “Four Level 2 Tesla Destination Chargers with two charging cables each that charge at 48 amps/10kW if only one car is plugged in. (Update: On 2nd charge it looks like there's only 48Amps/10kW spread across all 4 stations so if all are in use in theory you could get as little as 6A/1.2kW. With only 1 car 4 chargers away from me I was still only getting 24A/5kW) Charged at $0.56/kWh which is not cheap but it's nice to have reliable, if slow, charging inside Death Valley NP where there seems to be no other charging options.” — Mukul Nerlekar, a year ago
