“I decided I needed a bathroom break, so I figured I might as well top off while I bottomed out, so to speak. I asked Google Maps and it suggested this nearby Circle K. The last time I charged at a Circle K they made me download an app that asked for my shoe size and the village in Czechoslovakia where my great grandfather was born before it would let me charge, so I wasn’t exactly excited, but in the immortal words of Dr. Ian Malcolm, “When you gotta go, you gotta go”. So imagine my joy when I pulled into the parking lot and found 2 Ionna chargers! Their blue and orange shells beckoning me to partake of their charged nectar! What a pleasant surprise! The thing charged me up so fast I barely had time to use the bathroom and write this review. Other reviewers have said the chargers didn’t work. I challenge them to a duel! I won’t stand for this slander of my beloved Ionna! My wife has asked me to calm down. Apologies, things got out of hand. All I will say is that today, the chargers work, and the Circle K does not stock any brand of pretzels, which are my favorite car snack.” — Mike Olson, 2 months ago
“Both chargers down (four ports), zero status communication online. AVOID. It makes absolutely no sense to route yourself to a charging station only to find both units completely out of service. I wasted valuable time and miles getting here, only to be left stranded. If Circle K is going to charge premium rates of $0.49/kWh, they need to act like a premium charging network. Other competitors do a vastly superior job of updating their live station status online and in-app. Showing up to dead hardware in 2026 is completely unacceptable. Circle K, you have to do better with your online status integration—losing miles and wasting time on broken, expensive equipment is incredibly frustrating.” — Rauf Durosinmi, 3 months ago
