“This is a gem of a place to charge your Tesla in Dodge City, Kansas. It is located on the North side of the Boot Hill Distillery tasting room. There are three chargers, 40/48 amp. These are privately owned for patrons of the tasting room. Normal hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday, 3:00 pm to 11.00 pm at the time of this writing. I called the distillery in advance to check in and they agreed to leave the chargers on overnight for me. Of course I patronized the tasting room -- they have some interesting pours in a very nice setting. Several restaurants and lodging are within an easy walk.” — David Pulkrabek, 2 years ago
“Not free. A lot more expensive than most superchargers even though it's a super slow charger. $0.50 cents/kw 3 brand new Tesla Chargers almost never available, because most times staff park their gas cars and oversized trucks in the charging parking spaces for a long time. Free Wifi (BHD Guest), most of the time it's strong, but the connection became weak a few times. There are fastfood restaurants around the corner about a 4min walk, TacoBell, Burger King, McDonalds, also a big gas station with food and snacks to purchase and those buckets near the gas pumps to wash your car windows hehe . The chargers are actually next to the Distillery, located in the parking lot of The Tasting Room/ The Office Of The Marshal Booooo! Every once in a while you hear some horrible sounds that you have never heard before in your life, while charging here. It's similar to someone being tortured or burned alive, which must be random locals trying to sing in one of those places around there. They seem to call it "music." Who goes to try to sing in a bar around 10 a.m. disturbing the entire neighborhood? Poor cats and dogs who dont have houses and have to hear that mess. Again booooo!” — ููู , a year ago
“When we arrived, we were really disappointed that it would not work for us. this is very misleading as the building controls when the station is on/ off. We did not know we had to call in advance to ensure that they are able to turn it on. This turned into a very big problem and this is one of 2 charging stations only in Dodge city.
