“So on the good side, this is the only dedicated Tesla charger around and it is free. We were grateful to have it. The three star review is because a very rude man sternly admonished me to coil up the cord after we finish because apparently my wife (or somebody else entirely!) had failed to do so a couple of days before. I I think it might have been the master distiller, John, but I am not sure. This leaves me with the impression that they don’t really want people charging there, or have some kind of chip on their shoulder about EV types or something. I was very careful to back in and leave all sorts of room on the sidewalk and so on. We are very conscientious people in general. Perhaps my wife didn’t coil the cord the other day, I dunno. Compounding the insult, my wife and I purchased four bottles or over $150 worth of spirits while we were there as a show of our gratitude and we would never have even gone there had it not been for the charger. I think it is really poor form to try to attract people to the distillery with the Tesla charger and then be rude to them right on the way out, which is exactly the opposite of what you should do if you are courting customers - leave a bad taste in their mouth. If you’re all bent out of shape because people aren’t winding up the cord, you can just put a little sign saying “please coil the cord when you’re finished charging.” Maybe he’s just having a bad day. Now I am too. Finally: the pic shows the hanger where we are supposed to infer the cord gets coiled.
