“If you鈥檙e navigating the EV charging landscape in Indiana and enjoy a good game of hide-and-seek, EV Connect Charging Station is the destination for you. It would be incredibly helpful if they mentioned this is located directly in the Hampton Inn Columbus/Taylorsville/Edinburgh parking lot, but apparently, they prefer to keep you guessing. This was my first time fast-charging in a hotel parking lot, which felt a bit like I was loitering in someone鈥檚 driveway, but it turned out to be a win since it meant actual access to a restroom. In a stunning display of reliability, all the chargers were functional during my visit. I secured a solid charge and was back on the road without any of the usual infrastructure-induced drama. “4 stars: easy to find, easy to plug but rate too high. Located on the parking lot of the Hampton Inn. 4 charging stations. You have to download the EV connect app and setup an account. They ask you for a credit card #. With the app, you locate your charging station. It is quite easy to do with geo localisation. Plug it, accept the rate and the charging starts. It is a very fast charging 馃憤 The rate is about 55cts per kwh. It is quite high , you would expect a rate around 15cts. It is at least 3 times too much....馃憥” — jean-sebastien delfosse, 2 years ago
