What drivers have written
“The Loop EV chargers at West Edmonton Mall were disappointing. There are six parking stalls, but only three actual charging stations, with one charger shared between two stalls and just a single cable. The website advertises charging speeds of up to 19 kW, but I only received around 8 kW while charging. The location is also inconvenient—off to the side and hard to find since they’re on the middle floor of the parkade. Overall, not the best experience and it could be improved with clearer signage, more chargers, and accurate speed information. Price is 7 cents per minute @ 8kwh.” — Gary Pandher, 4 months ago
“Three chargers only. You need the loop app to setup and charge. It's $2 to start a charge and then $0.05 per minute. Up to 19KWH. There are 6 parking spots and assuming nobody takes the middle you would be able to switch from either side charger if you parked there assuming one side is occupied. The chargers though are unreliable. They frequently disconnect and become offline. It will require a reset if that happens. A site tech needs to come and fix it. After the reset you should be able to connect from the QR code on the app. You can then monitor and stop the charge on the app. It's conveniently placed. These chargers need to be replaced ASAP as they are total garbage.” — Jordan Roy, 5 months ago
“What a ridiculous run around to get an account set up. Then couldn’t charge and spent over an hour on the phone to find no resolution. Wouldn’t waste my time. Loop staff said the stall we were at was online but other reviews may prove the same fate. Don’t try and charge in stall 1. The charger behind does not work.” — Kimberley jordan, 6 months ago
