“13 dispensers. All are reserved for employees, none of whom have EVs. The spots are often ICEd. You are trespassing if you drive onto the property according to the security guard I spoke to. As of March 1, 2023, all of the machines are turned off, except for the first 3, which are only accessible to employees, and another that seems to get disconnected if the security guard sees you charging you car. Tried calling Metro Distribution to ask manager about opening up the dispensers to the public, but the organization is Byzantine. Frustrating that they have chargers people need, but they won't let them use them. I'm sure EV owners would pay to use them. It's a wasted opportunity on the part of Metro, as it's easily a win-win situation, considering the lack of available charging infrastructure, which contributes to slow adoption of EVs.” — gustotumbao, 3 years ago
