“We went out of our way to charge here. Driving from upstate NY to south Florida we charged at four Ionna Charging Stations. Elkton, MD was the first time we charged at an Ionna. Ionna was the least expensive charger we used on our trip. This one is in the back of a Wawa parking lot but easy to find. Charging started at 148kW and went down to 46kW above 80% charge. This is about the best our Chevy Equinox can do. The fee was $0.37kW which is the lowest fee we have paid for fast charging. The trash cans with recycling were empty which was nice to see as other stand alone Ionna stations had overflowing trash cans. Squeezes were on the back side of the trash/recycling cans. Ionna is trying to do EV charging the right way. Ionna is my preferred charging station. But not if attached to a convenience store as anyone is allowed to park in the EV spots so the apps don't reflect if chargers are available or not. A sign that says "All vehicle parking welcome.” One non-EVs can park was parked in an EV spot the full time we were there. It wasn’t like they needed to park in an EV spot as there were lots of open non-charging spots.” — Bill, 4 months ago
