“Made it here at 1% after being assigned an electric rental when they were short cars - am all for electric, but was concerned about range, and today those concerns proved valid! Very relieved to get here and appreciated the other review that noted the chargers are in the back of the Chevy dealership. The military tank others have mentioned appears to be gone though (which is fine by me because I’m alone late at night and find big machines terrifying, ha). For other renters unfamiliar: In Polestar (and I’m sure other EVs) if you get to a “fast” charging station and are bummed to find the charger doesn’t fit your car, you may need to take the rain cover off of the bottom 2 holes of your car’s charging port. Then the fast charger may fit. I didn’t know this earlier (discovered it in a YT I watched while waiting forever for a slow charger to work) and it would’ve helped. Edit: Getting 154 kW here as the only car charging at the time. 374A, as compared to the 14A I was lucky to get at slow charging stations earlier. This disrupted my trip - I couldn’t make it to check in in time at a hotel I had already paid for and lost that money because I could only find slow chargers, and when I finally found the first fast charger, I didn’t realize there was a rain guard on my car disguising the fact that the port actually would fit the charger. Hoping this helps out somebody else in my boat. When you’re picking up an rental late at night after an exhausting day of travel you don’t often get the chance to familiarize yourself with its non-intuitive aspects.” — Rachel Cook, 5 months ago

“So many issues here. First, the charge point tap wasn't working; it would instantly decline payment. Then the app would report charging while the charger stopped charging after a minute. Then the charger and app reported reduced charging speed due to other cars when I was the only car here. Eventually I got the charging started at 418 mi/hr, but far too difficult for what should be an easy auth handshake.” — akcrono, 3 months ago
