“Absolutely terrible experience with this Rivian charger. 2 out of the 4 chargers were down, so I called Rivian support three separate times. Each time I was told that all 4 chargers were down, even though I could literally see 2 vehicles charging. What made it even worse? Rivian employees hung up on me three times. Seriously. This location is basically a charging desert, and when you’re already low on charge, having chargers unavailable with no meaningful support is incredibly frustrating. On top of that, there were 2 other vehicles sitting there charging for what seemed like forever. There’s apparently no time limit and no way to prioritize cars that are actually in need of a charge. This is exactly the kind of location where a reliable charging network matters most, and Rivian completely dropped the ball. The hardware is unreliable, the customer service was awful, and there seems to be zero urgency when someone is genuinely low on charge.
