“This is a remarkable supercharger for a couple of reasons, but it has its downsides. Driving towards Harlingen from the north, there are wind turbines as far as the eye can see. It looks like there must be over a thousand of them, really big ones spinning fast. As a result the rates at this charger are really good 24/7 so there must be a big battery somewhere. This is how a supercharger is supposed to work, not connected to a coal power plant. There were only two cars here when I arrived Tuesday midday. The big downside is this is not a great place for a dog. There are a few strips of grass between the stores but that's it. There are all kinds of food places right near the chargers.
