“My wife and I rented an EV, a 2024 Kia EV6, not realizing it had a type CCS charger. We had to look around a bit to find one and, we did. Surprisingly the charger did not charge us any money! The interface was pretty straightforward and, in under 20 minutes, we went from 9% to 85% charge. That’s quick!” — snarkyguy, 10 months ago

“As with all electricity America charging stations, some of the electrical outlets don't work. It costs 36¢ per kilowatt vs. Tesla chargers 14¢ per kilowatt. Basically, if they charge their price to us, for $5. an electrical vehicle would go over 1,000. miles, 2.6¢ per kilowatt. Over 1,000% mark up, translates to about 40 miles per gallon. Tesla gives over 120 miles per gallon, price for electricity. Basically, the difference in price for electricity, for any car that's not a Tesla, and has to pay these extreme prices, for an Uber driver full time, would pay for the payment on a Tesla. I could tolerate the price gouging for a while, until I could fix my credit back to buy a Tesla. I give the one Star because 2 out of 4 chargers are always out of order, not just at this Electrify America location. Not to mention the slower charging speeds, and people charging an extra hour to get to 100%, I'll advised, and unnecessary. Bad for the battery, and the lines.” — Larry Evans, 3 years ago
