“In what could be described as a late night fever dream of mayhem. Dirty/lifted pickups, minivans w/ trailers, then trailer-less semis, and a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutless (with way too many pieces of luggage attached to it) zooming around the parking lot, yelling, vomiting, with the occasional child crying made for an eventful 45 minute wait. While I did need to use the restroom again on stop 2 of my trip from Seattle, I dared to enter the Space Age gas station to see what their public restrooms were all about. About run of the mill rural gas station experience with vandalism, sticky floors, single ply tree bark, and a stall door that latched closedish. Not to be a monster to society, I did find a tasty beverage of my choosing, a diecast car of the vehicle I was driving, and a delightful cashier who seemed to be done with the screaming children and musty smell. The environment was ideal for a trip of many adventures. The alien like green glow of the chargers matched with the yellow and red lighting of Space Age sealed this destination as a "need to come back". See you in the future Space Age charger spot.” — M.
