“I recently visited the EVgo charging station at Oakwood Plaza, which boasts a total of six dispensers: four 350 kW chargers each with a single CCS1 cable and a CHAdeMO plug capable of delivering up to 50 kW, plus two additional stations offering 50 kW via CCS and 50 kW via CHAdeMO. Despite the promising setup in this vibrant shopping area, I tried all six stations, and not a single one worked! Some chargers displayed messages on their screens indicating they were out of order, while others appeared functional but were unresponsive when attempting to activate them through the app. This was a huge letdown, especially given the prime location and the potential for a convenient charging stop. It’s a shame that EVgo has such great equipment installed here, but none of it is operational. Shame on EVgo for failing to maintain their stations—this is beyond frustrating and unacceptable. “My experience was good. It was easy to find. And they are the fast chargers. All of the other surrounding chargers in this area belong to hotel residents or they are slow chargers which are pretty much useless unless you’re going to leave overnight.” — Mr Weathersby, 7 months ago
