“Need more chargers at the location. There is only 1 EVGo in Alabama. The others in the state are associated with EVgo and are not associated with the car benefit program I had when I purchased my car. Thus I have to pay in full at the other charging stations when I travel out of Birmingham. Here There are 4 super chargers but many times 2 are not working. Sometimes the inoperable chargers are not listed in the app so there is a communication issue with the app. Today was an exception in that all chargers were in operation and stations full - thus the 3 stars! Luckily I did not have to wait like I usually do! Recommend Checking the app prior to coming to see what’s charges are available. I’d also recommend that the working chargers light up green and the inoperable chargers light up red so as to prevent having to hook up and wait for a sync only to find out it doesn’t work! “Came by because my battery was almost dead and this station saved me. Charging speed was good, got enough to get home in about 20 minutes. Just wish there was a bathroom nearby because I had to run into the gas station across the street.” — Marcus Link, 2 months ago

“No pricing information on the chargers. Had to charge, so didnt have a choice. Just for plugging in you get charged a $5 fee, plus charging. On top of that, if you use a card, they are going to put a $55 hold on your card. Charger cut off at 85% for no reason, and I needed a full charge to make my next destination, so I had to start another charging session. Yep, $5 more dollars and another $55 hold. The rates are higher than most (I dont know the exact rate because it never tells you what the $/kWh is, but with the session charge and power rate, and left at over $1.25/kWh. Outrageous. Next time, ill let it die and get a tow to the next charger. NOT worth the hassle to use this charging location.” — Glenn Waterworth, 8 months ago
