“Very disappointing experience. I drove 15 miles to this Hyperfuel location only to find that all four fuel stations were out of service. They should have updated their status or at least posted a notice before customers wasted their time and fuel driving there. “Avoid at all costs. Horrible charger. Terrible company. Forces you to download an app just to pay for a charge, most likely to steal all of your data and sell it to brokers. (I know this because they don’t allow you to use the app while VPN is turned on). And after the rigamarole, would not accept my payment through the app… Then my payment went through, but the machine had an issue syncing to my vehicle. Took about 15 minutes just to set up the app. Took another 10 minutes just hoping it would charge my vehicle. Spent another 10 minutes trying to get in touch with anyone that wasn’t an AI assistant. After spamming customer service, they started hanging up on me. Have not spoken to one person. All of this, no option to pay with card or tap pay, and no one to speak to when there’s an issue. AND it’s significantly more expensive than any other charger I’ve used (Ionna, Shell, EVgo, Electrify America, Mercedes) Avoid at all costs.” — Francisco, 6 months ago
